As we reach the midpoint of the year, I know many of you are wondering where Canada’s housing market is headed—especially if you’re considering a move between Calgary and Lethbridge or anywhere in Southern Alberta. The 2026 outlook is shaping up with some encouraging signs: resales are on the rise, inventory is stabilizing, and price declines are slowing down. While challenges remain, like immigration cuts and rising interest rates, experts anticipate a modest rebound in 2027. Every buyer and seller’s situation is unique, and these shifts will mean different things depending on your goals. My role as your local REALTOR® is to provide honest, people-first guidance rooted in our community’s realities—so you feel confident in your next step, whether you’re exploring new listings or weighing your options. Real estate should always feel personal, because it is.
